Shariya nodded, then spoke, "This is just my personal guess, but based on their cognitive logic, such guess is highly possible. Everyone thought they lost the Prophetic War thirty years ago because they depended too much on magic. If they had not depended so much on magic, they could have used their relatively advanced weapons to defeat the Earthlings. The second Prophetic War just proved this point."
In the second Prophetic War, the Earthlings who invaded the Otherworld were defeated and forced to capitulate by the Otherworld's armies. This led many people to underestimate Earthlings' capabilities. They thought as long as they got the weapons from Earth, they could invade their world and defeat them once again.
Ironically, the only people in the Otherworld who truly understood the power of Earth were the Church Court's forces. They had many scholars who studied Earth's culture and knowledge, allowing them a far richer understanding of Earth than anyone else in the Otherworld.
