Not long after, Hu Daoke came riding back on a horse. When he dismounted, he was still huffing and puffing, having clearly just given chase with all his might.
"I only caught one. Those horses went crazy and were running all over the place!" Hu Daoke said after catching his breath.
Cheng Ziang nodded, then fell into deep thought. Their current mission was to somehow relay the information about the Church Court's planned attack on the Earth's forces. However, an unexpected incident had occurred. Tangmo, the only communication officer in their team, had betrayed them. On top of that, Yalunte had lost contact with headquarters. This was a terrible situation for them.
Although getting Tangmo back and dealing with his mental issues was important, what was more pressing was to figure out how to get the information out.
