Luo Chuan had no idea how long he had been falling. All he knew was that his limbs had grown numb. He had initially thought of jumping while holding onto Nina, but now it seemed that if he had done so, he would have let go out of fear.
On the other hand, Nina seemed really calm, clutching Luo Chuan's waist with both hands, her body tightly pressing against his back. Suddenly, he heard a faint murmur in his ear from Nina, but it was in a language he didn't understand.
Immediately after, Luo Chuan felt as if their plummeting speed had surprisingly slowed down. The waterfall that had been relatively still compared to their fall was now pouring onto him, causing him to gulp down a few mouthfuls of water.
Unsure of how much time had passed, it felt as though they had been falling for a century. The two of them finally crashed heavily into the pool, being dragged straight to the bottom by the massive impact.
