Though Kalenisa was inhabited by many people from other races, the majority were still Night Elves, with female soldiers dominating both the city walls and patrolling the streets.
Notably, despite the presence of outsiders and Elven folk in Kalenisa, there was distinctly one group missing, the Half-elves.
Looking around the entire city, one could hardly spot a Half-elf. There were either members of other races or Night Elves, with no transition in between.
Thus it seemed, in some respects, Night Elves tended to be conservative. Luo'er did not know if there were Half-elves in other parts of the island, but judging from the situation in Kalenisa, he surmised that the island probably had no Half-elves, or if it did, they were very few in number.
Research reports from Earth indicated that although the Night Elves had the most mixed-blood members within the Elf Race, the vast majority lived on the Continent. On Xia Yue Island, their presence was scarcely seen.
