The sound was deafening, many were jolted so severely that they instinctively shut their eyes. By the time they reopened them, each and every one of them stood rooted to the spot, mouths agape, almost deprived of the ability to think!
The knight clad in mail, wielding a Crescent Blade, found his weapon cleaved in two!
Before they could recover from their shock, they saw the figure on the ground move faster and charge directly at the knight, leaping high and brutally slashing down with his blade!
All this happened in a flash, the Crescent Blade in the knight's hand was severed. He hadn't even had time to be surprised before he felt a slight numbness in his waist, and he instinctively looked down. It seemed as though he saw a gleam of cold light flash by.
