That created a rather noticeable difference between the speeds of the two swords. During their earlier skirmish, this disparity hadn't been obvious, but now, with one in pursuit and the other fleeing, the gap between them quickly widened.
Qi Tian knew that he could not let Pan escape no matter what; if Pan got away and informed Manager Chen about the situation here, it might even bring Manager Chen himself over.
