At about eleven o'clock today, Lu Yinchu saw a man.
His name is Chang Linsheng, a longtime friend of Lu Yinchu's and a graduate of H University. Chang started in the Chinese Department but transferred to the Management Department in his sophomore year, joining the same class as Lu Yinchu.
During the first month, the two were distant, each uncommunicative with the other. Yet, during this time, Lu Yinchu became aware of a talented person in the Chinese Department named Chang Linsheng, and Chang Linsheng knew of a genius in the Management Department named Lu Yinchu!
Why did Chang Linsheng switch his major? The reason was simple. There was no competition for him in the Chinese Department: he was always first, which he found unchallenging. In his freshman year, he completed all the courses designed for juniors. In his sophomore year, he requested a transfer on account of his impressive performance and connections, and it was permitted!
