A colleague asked, "Was that man yesterday your boyfriend?"
Nanxi pursed her lips, and then nodded.
The colleague gasped, "Oh my god, you actually have such a handsome and rich boyfriend! I'm so envious!"
Nanxi: "..."
She tugged at the corner of her mouth, unsure of how to respond to her colleague!
"Gu Nanxi, could you please get me a cup of strong coffee? I didn't get much sleep last night!" A colleague who had been with the company for a year longer than her and looked a few years older than her, Colleague A, asked.
Nanxi nodded, "Sure!"
Then she got up and left!
After Nanxi left, Colleague B asked Colleague A, "Knowing that she has such a badass boyfriend, how dare you still boss her around?"
