Nanxi fell silent. She wanted to ask, how could you possibly be so certain in your love for me, especially when there's another woman that you hold dear in your heart? The odds seem virtually impossible!
At least, that's how Nanxi sees it!
Lu Yinchu remained silent, his gaze falling lightly upon her. Nanxi thought he didn't want to answer, and she didn't want to push too hard, but deep down she felt uncomfortable. It was true.
"It's getting late. I have to go home."
Nanxi took off her blazer and handed it to him, but Lu Yinchu didn't take it.
"Nanxi, are you questioning my feelings?"
Nanxi was taken aback, but she didn't answer, essentially confirming it.
