The citywide high school basketball league is held every two years, divided into junior high and high school divisions, each crowning a champion.
In addition to the junior and senior divisions, there are also boys and girls divisions, which in total provide four champions: junior high boys, junior high girls, high school boys, and high school girls.
Such rules are very fair, preventing friction between different grades and between genders.
There are twelve junior high schools citywide, divided into pairs to form six divisions.
