There were many people on the first floor of the cafeteria, mostly younger students. An Yeran looked over the selection of food, grabbed a few side dishes and a bowl of rice.
By the time she returned to her seat, Lu Xiu had been waiting for her for quite a while.
"Why did you get so little food?" An Yeran asked.
Lu Xiu lowered his gaze. His eyelashes were long and thick, very beautiful. "I usually don't feel hungry at noon."
That was unacceptable. Children need to eat to grow, don't they?
Cinderella looked skinny and frail, barely a hint of flesh on her bones. If she didn't bulk up now, how could she withstand Jiang's mother's mistreatment in the future?
An Yeran's jump in logic was always quite unique.
She spooned half of her rice into Lu Xiu's bowl. "I'm on a diet and accidentally took more rice than I needed. Could you help me finish it?"
Lu Xiu was stunned for a while, not knowing how to react to the girl's actions.
He realized An Yeran was trying to get him to eat more.
Little Lu Xiu's heart was warmed, he was even more convinced that Sister Yeran was a good person. She was good to him.
"Um... Um!" Lu Xiu nodded his head.
He'd eat everything his big sister gave him.
"Can I eat lunch with you every day in the future?" Lu Xiu suddenly asked.
With a shrimp in her mouth, An Yeran responded, "Sure."
Lu Xiu is handsome, it's actually pleasant to watch him eat.
Upon hearing An Yeran's agreement, the boy's lips curved into a grin, he seemed like a child who has just received a candy, radiating happiness.
His face looked delicate and obedient. His soft coffee colored hair was accompanied by the smell of milk.
He also had very fair skin, An Yeran found it a bit unnaturally white, but it didn't affect his good looks.
After lunch, boarding students usually went back to their dorms and commuter students could either return to the classroom to nap or wander around on campus.
Lu Xiu initially didn't want to go back to the classroom and sleep, but An Yeran nudged him. "If you don't take a nap, you will be too tired to function in the afternoon. You still have to study well. Go, or I won't eat lunch with you again!"
Little Lu Xiu pouted his lips, he had no choice but to head back to the classroom for a nap.
After seeing off Cinderella, An Yeran ran towards the basketball court, several boys from class 3 were already waiting- they were the ones she played basketball with during the last physical education class.
"An, you're here?!"
"Yeah, let's get started!" An Yeran said, "When is the sports meet again?"
"Early next month, before the monthly test," a boy responded.
"Ok!" An Yeran nodded, "Don't worry, I'll train you guys so that we can win at the sports meet! Let's piss off Yu Chao!"
The boys from class three were motivated, they've always had a problem with Yu Chao, but couldn't express it because he was rich and had better grades. They kept their grudges to themselves.
But now, it was different. The sports meet was coming up. If they could defeat class one, who always secured the first position, they'd wake up laughing from their dreams!
Friendship amongst children can be established quickly sometimes.
They all smiled and sweated on the playground, An Yeran realized playing with kids could also be fun.
Not all kids were annoying brats.

Class one had a huge floor-to-ceiling window that offered a full view of the campus playground.
A small figure stood in front of the window, the boy's dark pupils gazing at the activity on the playground.
The girl with a ponytail was having a good time playing with the boys.
Lu Xiu's hand was on the glass, the cold sensation spreading from his palm. Anyone watching him closely would notice a chilling look in his eyes that seemed inappropriate for his age.
"Lu, you want to take a nap?" the study committee member of class 1 walked over to him and asked softly.
He didn't answer, his gaze focused on the playground.
"Lu?"
When Lu Xiu suddenly turned his gaze towards her, the study committee member blushed at the sight of his delicate face.
However, the next second, she heard his hoarse, cold voice, "Get lost."
