The rain had lightened momentarily, but then it came down even harder, with no sign of stopping. Lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating half of the heavens, as torrential rain poured and thunder rumbled loudly.
Driving the car carefully, Su Luo started off towards the villa at a slow pace.
