The Emperor and his four sons, from the leading male role to the fourth, have already been cast, as has the Queen, the leading female role. However, two secondary female roles have not yet been cast. Today, Shen Anlingzi is planning to audition for one of these secondary roles.
Right after getting the script from Wu Tieyun, Anlingzi read it overnight. One of the secondary female roles is virtuous and is actually closer to the leading female character. The role Anlingzi is auditioning for is the other secondary role. According to Wu Tieyun, the leading female role has already been finalized and Director Chen has his pick for it. Hence, although both roles were supposedly up for audition, in reality only one role was being tested for.
