Yu Jingrong immediately went to the hospital. It wasn't long before Shen Anlingzi arrived, still looking a bit terrified.
She tousled her hair in frustration and said to Jingrong, "I paused before I left. The police had shown up and they arrested a group of people whom they suspected were doing drugs. All of them were from our private room."
"What a coincidence," Yu Jingrong frowned.
"Someone must've tipped them off, but who called the police?" As Anlingzi spoke, a possibility crossed her mind.
But she didn't tell Jingrong about it; instead, she hastily pulled out her phone to call her agent.
"I'm sorry, the number you've dialed is powered off..." The artificial intelligence voice from her phone made Anlingzi furrow her brow.
Both fell silent. Anlingzi's face turned pale, and Jingrong seemed to understand something; Lingzi's agent might have planned to get Lingzi to go and entertain by drinking with the director who liked Anlingzi, intending for Lingzi to sleep her way up.
