Su Luo slightly narrowed her eyes as she registered Yu Jingrong's odd behavior.
However, her expression quickly reverted to normal. She gave Yu Jingrong a slight smile. As soon as Yu Jingrong changed the subject, she simply played along, pretending to be clueless. They engaged in small talk intermittently.
The dinner went fairly well. At the end, Su Luo insisted on not being escorted by Yu Jingrong, and headed straight to the parking lot. She had driven herself that day.
As soon as she sat in her car, the hint of a smile that had been lingering on her face instantly disappeared. Her complexion turned cold within a heartbeat.
She drove away from the resort. Once she was sure she was alone, she abruptly pulled her car over and dialed a number on her phone, her eyes ablaze with a cold light.
When the person on the other end picked up, Su Luo asked straightaway,"Mom, when are you and Uncle Li planning to come back home?"
