Startled, Yu Jingrong broke into a laugh of fury.
She grabbed a pillow on the sofa and hurled it at Li Chengyun: "You looked at my phone, did you delete my messages? Li Chengyun, how could you do that, without my permission, you went through my phone, do you know it's an invasion of my privacy?"
Li Chengyun nonchalantly brushed off the tossed pillow to the floor.
Slowly rising his tall figure, he looked at Yu Jingrong with a tinge of mockery: "Caught red-handed and now you're embarrassed and angry?"
Yu Jingrong was aflame with an internal rage. She had no desire to engage with him. She darted out of the master bedroom and stomped down to the living room.
She flung herself onto the couch, but didn't sit for even a second before standing back up, walking to the dining table to pour herself a cup of cold water and gulping it down.
She then poured another glass, but before she could drink it, she heard the footsteps of someone coming downstairs.
