Yu Jingrong's eyes carried a hint of disappointment. She hesitated, then picked up the cup. But just as she was about to drink, her hand suddenly stopped.
Ji Duoduo stared at her lips, her heart nearly leaping out of her chest.
Seeing Jingrong's sudden stop, Duoduo was startled and a thought involuntarily crossed her mind: What if she had discovered something? What would she do then? Intense anxiety suddenly consumed her. With her heart pounding fiercely, Duoduo's mind quickly churned. As she was thinking about her next move, Jingrong looked at her and said, "Duoduo, could you get my bag for me? I've been taking vitamin E lately."
"Oh, sure!" Ji Duoduo exhaled in relief, swallowing hard on her lingering fear, but finally felt stable.
She smiled and turned to grab Jingrong's bag which was lying on the corner table.
