The next day, Yu Jingrong woke up unusually early, intending to leave before Li Chengyun.
She tiptoed out stealthily, no one was in sight. Just as she was ready to walk out brazenly, the figure sitting on the sofa basking in the sunlight almost scared her out of her wits.
Li Chengyun was reading a newspaper attentively, his hand elegantly holding a cup of coffee.
As he heard the footsteps, he looked at her very naturally with no extra expression on his face. "Good morning," he said.
His reaction was so casual, as if nothing had happened.
Yu Jingrong quickly responded just as casually, "Good morning!"
"Let's have breakfast!" He suggested.
Yu Jingrong glanced at the dining table, there were two French breakfasts. She continued to stride to the door, saying whilst changing her shoes, "No need, I'm in a hurry."
