Yu Jingrong received a call from Mr. Huo, inviting her to meet him. He claimed to have an item he needed to give her. Having originally planned on going to the Mu family's to fetch some raw materials and seeing she had time beforehand, she decided to see Mr. Huo first.
In a superbly elegant tea house, Mr. Huo sat, his posture askew. As soon as Yu Jingrong entered, he immediately straightened up, smiling and greeting her.
"Mr. Huo!" Yu Jingrong greeted him, and then took a seat opposite him.
Mr. Huo filled his teacup with tea from the tea pot and handed it over to Yu Jingrong, saying "Have some tea."
Yu Jingrong extended her hands to accept it, "Thank you!"
Both of them lifted their tea cups slightly towards each other, before gently taking a sip.
Setting down the tea cup, Mr. Huo said with a smile, "I really want to thank you, Miss Yu. My daughter simply adores the brooch. She embraced me and showered me with kisses, something she hasn't done since she has grown up."
