Upon entering the Banquet Hall, Lin Mi was dazzled by the lavish decoration.
Before she could even acclimate, a girl leapt over, grabbing her arm, "Sister! How come you're here?"
Lin Mi looked down at her paternal half-sister Lin Qian, and smiled, "I brought Duoduo around to visit."
Truth be told, the one who treated her the best in this family was this half-sister of hers.
Even though she had always refused Lin Qian's affections, Lin Qian had always sneakily bought things for Duoduo. When she worked at the mall before, Lin Qian would secretly bring Duoduo for meals, or to buy her clothes.
"Oh my, Duoduo, have you missed your little aunt?" Lin Qian laughed and reached out for Duoduo.
"Yes." Duoduo answered crisply, then threw herself into Lin Qian's embrace.
"What do you like to eat, Duoduo? Let auntie take you to eat it, okay?" Chen Xin asked with a smile.
"Okay!"
Lin Qian took Duoduo to one side to have cake. Chen Xin led Lin Mi towards a corner sofa.
