Yu Han's gaze was fixed nonchalantly on Yan Xia. Seeing her fall, Yu Han was greatly alarmed.
"Watch out!" Yu Han shouted, rushing forward.
He was just a step away from Yan Xia and reacted immediately in the moment of tension.
"Ah!" Yan Xia's scream was cut short as Yu Han scooped her into his arms.
It was only after embracing Yan Xia that Yu Han understood the meaning behind Si Mo's smile.

After sending Si Mo a grateful look, Yu Han immediately looked at the woman in his arms: "Are you all right?"
"I'm fine." Yan Xia answered instinctively, still shaken up.
When she looked up and saw Yu Han's handsome face so close to hers, she was momentarily stunned.
Then quickly, she stepped back and spoke politely yet distantly, "Thank you, Mr. Yu."
They had broken up, after all. She didn't want him thinking she was throwing herself at him.
