"So… Miss Smith, please go for another checkup," the doctor called a nurse and again led Amanda out.
Once Amanda had left, Grace came up and asked, "Doctor Chapman, could there really have been a mistake?"
This doctor was a family friend of the Murdocks, and after giving Grace a glance, he smiled wryly and shook his head, "A two-and-a-half-month-old fetus, how could one make a mistake with that? I only asked her to recheck to ease her mind."
Grace had a strange expression on her face, slightly furrowing her brows, as if unsure what to say.
Amanda had only been with Samuel for a month and a half, so how could she be pregnant with a two-and-a-half-month-old fetus?
Amanda appeared to be in disbelief as well.
This was strange.
How could she not know when she conceived?
Grace felt the situation was becoming tricky.
About ten minutes later, Amanda walked out with a grave expression on her face.
