"Pregnant?" Amanda Smith was taken aback, then she laughed, "Congratulations, I'm going to be a godmother then. How many months?"
"Almost one and a half months," said Grace Murdock, her face showing a mix of shyness and joy, in a soft voice, "My period never came, so I went to the hospital to check, and that's when I found out I was already expecting a baby."
Her fingers caressed her belly, her fair complexion tinged with tenderness and anticipation.
