When Amanda Smith arrived at the entrance of the shopping mall, Grace Murdock was already waiting there.
Grace was still in her usual black long dress, with her dark hair pinned up in a bun at the back of her head. The black was immensely flattering on her, making her snow-white skin appear as dazzling as fresh snow after a snowfall.
Upon seeing Amanda, Grace's usually indifferent face immediately brightened with a smile. She warmly took Amanda's hand, and they entered the mall chatting and laughing together.
Grace led Amanda straight to the luxury goods section. Birthday gifts for Tim Morrison naturally couldn't be too shabby. After picking through the options for an hour or two, Grace only settled on a designer watch.
Amanda sneaked a peek at the price, with six zeros trailing behind, which made her tongue-tied with shock.
