When Samuel Johnson pushed the door open and walked in, his complexion had already returned to normal.
Amanda Smith was leaning against the headboard, holding her mobile phone, chatting with someone on a call.
He slowly walked over, and as soon as Amanda saw him, she said something to the person on the phone and hung up.
"Who were you just on the phone with?"
Samuel Johnson sat on the bed, extended his arm to embrace her, and asked softly.
"It was Grace Murdock." Amanda replied with a beaming smile, "She found another puzzle game and was explaining it to me."
"You two seem to have gotten quite close," Samuel Johnson said with a hint of jealousy. Since the time Tim Morrison brought Grace Murdock over, these two young women had rapidly developed a friendship, often making secret calls to each other to chat for hours.
It was even more enthusiastic than the times she spent with him.
