Mrs. Johnson returned to the Johnson residence with a heart full of joy. As she walked through the door, she saw Samuel Johnson and Amanda Smith basking in the moonlight beneath the large tree in the courtyard.
The weather tonight was wonderful, with both the stars and the moon shining brightly. The two of them seemed just like a couple in the throes of passionate love, snuggling close and exchanging smiles from time to time, as pink bubbles of affection seemed to fill the air.
Mrs. Johnson's previously elated mood fell as soon as she laid eyes on Amanda Smith. Ever since she had met Tasha Moore, she found Amanda even less pleasing to the eye. She felt Amanda was deficient in every aspect.
Amanda wasn't as good-looking as Tasha, nor was her personality as pleasant. Her character certainly wasn't as kind-hearted as Tasha's. Tasha was willing to bear a child as an unmarried mother for the sake of her child; could Amanda do that? She could even go so far as to kill Samuel.
