When it was time to leave work, Amanda Smith deliberately waited until most of her colleagues had left before she came out of her office.
When she arrived downstairs, she saw Samuel Johnson's black sedan parked at the corner. Her eyes softened with warmth as she walked over, opened the car door, and got into the passenger seat.
Samuel Johnson reached out to fasten Amanda's seat belt for her. Turning his head to look at her, his tone carried a hint of reproach, "I've been waiting for you for over ten minutes."
Amanda smiled, leaned over, and kissed him, "Sorry for the long wait."
This time, Samuel didn't let her get away with a vague answer. He grabbed her shoulder, turned her head towards him, and looked at her seriously, "So when do you plan to tell your friends that we are in a relationship?"
It wasn't just about being in a relationship, they were also talking about getting married.
