Donald Johnson saw off David Davis and when he returned to the hotel room, he saw Samuel Johnson and Amanda Smith sitting on the sofa with their heads together, showing off their affection.
He felt like his eyes were blinded by the scene and, quite annoyed, he cleared his throat lightly. Then he saw his son look back at him reproachfully and whisper, "Amanda's asleep, keep your voice down."
Donald shot him a furious look, gritted his teeth, and said to his son, "Come out for a minute, I need to talk to you."
"Good, I need to talk to you too."
Samuel glanced at Amanda's sleeping face in his arms, a smile tugging at his lips. He couldn't help but steal a kiss on her face before he carefully loosened his hold on her, letting her lie down on the soft sofa.
