In the bright hall, a young man with a delicately feminine face sat on the sofa, a hint of playful nonchalance played at the corners of his mouth.
Opposite to him was Amanda Smith, who had been rendered unconscious by Mara Singleton with a sedative needle. She had not yet awakened, and was lying on the hall floor, wrapped up in a blanket by Mara Singleton.
"You've done well," Jordan Guthrie nodded slightly and smiled at Mara Singleton, "I knew that once you took action, you wouldn't disappoint me."
Mara Singleton held great respect for Jordan Guthrie. Hearing his praise, her face lit up with a radiant smile, and with some excitement, she said, "Master, what should Mara do next?"
"What comes next is my affair," he replied.
Jordan Guthrie waved his hand, signaling Mara Singleton to step back, then he leisurely rose from the sofa and strolled over to the unconscious woman on the floor.
