Amanda Smith silently looked at her, shook her head after a long while, "The Johnson family isn't just his alone. Even for grandfather's sake, I can't do something to betray it."
"Tsk," Lyric Willow hummed lightly, straightening up and tilting her chin high, commented, "So old-fashioned!"
"You approached me just for this?"
"This is just one reason..." Lyric Willow started laughing, "Did you gain anything when you last saw Collin Woods?"
Amanda's gaze sharpened before she finally asked, "Do you know everything about my past?"
Lyric's face showed a playful smile; she nodded proudly, "Mostly. It depends on whether you're willing to know or not." Her laughter resumed, "It feels terrible to be deceived, doesn't it? You want to know what exactly happened between your parents and your grandfather, don't you? Amanda Smith, as long as you're willing, I can tell you everything."
Her face carried a look of absolute certainty, her eyes full of eager triumph as she looked at Amanda Smith.
