Samuel Johnson finished his meal, and for the first time, didn't head to Amanda Smith's room right away. Instead, he went to his own bedroom.
He pushed open the door and switched on the light before heading to a corner where a wall lamp was fixed. Pressing against a section of the wall, the lamp popped out, and he reached out to open the section of the wall, revealing a small secret compartment with a safe inside.
Samuel Johnson took out the safe and couldn't help feeling nervous. The safe felt heavy in his hands, but he alone knew there wasn't much inside—just an ordinary plastic box.
He placed the safe on the bed, his breathing slightly hurried. The combination was Amanda's birthday. After he entered it, he retrieved a small white plastic box.
