The car was filled with the husky and magnetic voice of a foreign female singer. Although it was in a language Amanda Smith couldn't understand, it somehow relaxed her.
Samuel had only been driving a short while when he realized that the person in the passenger seat had fallen asleep. He quietly reached out and took her fingers into his hand, noticing her body temperature was always low, so he turned on the heat.
This silent afternoon, without any exchange, felt more relaxing to him than any time he had spent with her over the past few days. Perhaps he really should take her out to clear her mind. Keeping her cooped up at home, no wonder she was unhappy.
