Amanda Smith couldn't stop her tears, and Samuel Johnson began to regret his indiscretion. He stood beside her, helpless and visibly flustered, awkwardly fumbling for tissues, yet not daring to wipe her tears. It wasn't until a servant came in with fruit that he hurriedly handed the tissues to the maid, anxiously instructing her to wipe Amanda's tears.
The maid, faced with Samuel Johnson, couldn't help feeling awkward. When he placed the tissues in her hand and asked her to comfort Amanda, she was taken aback. Blanking out, she was pushed by Samuel toward Amanda, and not knowing what else to do, she awkwardly sat in front of her and carefully tried to console her.
After a good while, Amanda stopped crying. Seeing the young girl who looked just of age wiping her tears, she couldn't help feeling embarrassed. She took the tissue, wiped her face, and said gently, "It's okay now, you've seen me at an embarrassing moment."
