Samuel Johnson lowered his gaze and lazily smiled, "How would I know if I haven't experienced it?"
His tone was light, tinged with a hint of nonchalance.
His indifferent attitude left Tim Morrison with little to say.
After all, Amanda Smith wasn't anyone of significance to him; if there was anything to fuss about, it would be Samuel's issue. And now that Samuel didn't care, as an outsider, mentioning it once was enough. Anything beyond that was none of his concern.
The two chatted for a while longer when suddenly the door to the private room burst open.
Tim Morrison thought it must be Amanda coming over, as she often did to pick Samuel up and take him home from social gatherings.
But it wasn't Amanda who came in.
"Samuel!"
Tasha Moore had been worried upon hearing about Samuel spending time at this entertainment club, but as she pushed the door open, she saw Samuel sitting with just an unfamiliar man by his side, not a single woman in sight.
