Mrs. Hamilton looked at Amelia Clarke with a radiant smile.
Amelia Clarke subtly furrowed her brows. Just by looking at the Hamilton's villa, she knew the Hamiltons were a wealthy family, and she was nothing more than an ordinary university student. What could she possibly do for Mrs. Hamilton?
Besides, she had already arranged a part-time job for tomorrow and didn't have time.
With that in mind, Amelia Clarke spoke frankly, "I'm sorry, Mrs. Hamilton, but I have work tomorrow and my schedule is quite tight."
Mrs. Hamilton's smile deepened at the corners of her mouth, "Don't be so quick to refuse. Sit down first, listen to what it's about, then decide whether you want to help me or not."
She patted the spot next to her to signal Amelia Clarke to sit down and then passed her a cup of tea.
"I'm not afraid of being laughed at, but my husband has someone else on the side."
Amelia Clarke was startled as she held the teacup.
