Finally, it was her turn. After the previous designer and model had left the stage, the five models wearing her designs took the stage.
Fortunately, Isla's professional conduct was impeccable. Despite having an opinion about Amelia, she didn't let it interfere with her work and, after changing into a pair of high heels, led the way out.
Following behind the models, Amelia set foot on the first step and immediately felt so nervous that her palms began to sweat slightly. By the time she stepped onto the last step and the spotlight, along with countless pairs of eyes, landed on her, there was a moment of blankness in her mind.
But as soon as her gaze met a pair of profound eyes in the audience, the nervousness at the bottom of her heart quickly dissipated like smoke in the wind.
