At the gathering, there was a rich businessman from the south, who had engaged in several large collaborations with Bowe. Having had too much to drink, he insisted on dragging Owen along. Owen couldn't dismiss his insistence without offending him, so he followed. He had only just managed to slip away when the businessman became engrossed with one of the ladies inside.
