Amelia Clarke followed Jocelyn Griffin upstairs, missing the conversation that continued below them.
Once upstairs, Amelia subtly withdrew her hand. Jocelyn didn't mind and relied on memory to head towards the study, casually saying, "It's been a while since I came here with my grandparents, and I'm not familiar with this place. There are so many rooms; I'm not even sure I can still find the study…"
Amelia didn't say anything, silently following behind.
After walking down the hallway for a bit, Jocelyn stopped in front of a wine-red solid wood door, "This should be it."
Talking to herself, she raised her hand and knocked lightly.
Momentarily, a male voice came from inside, "Come in."
It sounded like Owen Moreland's.
Jocelyn's lips curled upward, and she turned back to Amelia, "Let's go in." Then she pushed the door open, looking more like the host, while Amelia appeared to be the guest.
