After a moment, Amelia Clarke asked her, "Does it still hurt?"
Viola Harris knew Amelia Clarke was asking about her injury and smiled back, "It doesn't hurt."
Neither spoke further about the incident last night, as if Viola Harris was simply in the hospital for an illness.
In the afternoon, Amelia returned to Capital City to attend class.
Upon seeing her, Mia Moreland immediately asked, "What mysterious thing were you and Viola doing? You didn't attend class either this morning. I asked for leave on your behalf, and our class teacher kept pressing me about why you two have been asking for leave so often lately, as if I knew! I had to rack my brains for two excuses for you."
Amelia Clarke just smiled, not answering, and changed the subject casually, "The exams are just a few days away, how's your revision going?"
