Mia Moreland's face belonged to that of a cherub, quite youthful with its plumpness, delicate features, big eyes, and small mouth, she had an undeniably adorable appearance.
Without waiting for Amelia Clarke to respond, she puffed out her chest, "Am I not mature?"
Her gaze swept over Amelia Clarke's chest, then glanced at Viola Harris's, and Mia Moreland dejectedly hung her head, muttering, "Well, no wonder he said I'm a child and doesn't like me."
Viola Harris snapped back to reality just in time to hear this, "Are you talking about John? You're still thinking about him?"
Mia Moreland shook her head and said nothing.
Amelia Clarke: "John?" The name sounded vaguely familiar.
Viola Harris explained, "It's that guy who used to chase after Mia Moreland, from the Department of Finance and Economics, he's the one who gave you roses at the school gate."
