"You couldn't stop her?" Maria asked surprisingly after making her way into the mansion. Ryan opened his mouth to say a few words in response but he couldn't say any. He didn't even know where else to start explaining from.
"Listen, Ryan, immediately you knew that something would turn out this way, you ought to have taken a step..."
"Wait, he knew?" Ben asked Maria and she nodded.
"Not that he knew that she was sent to him by the enemy but we got a revelation that she would most likely betray him by wanting to kill him but then she wouldn't be able to. So, he planned to drug her drinks as we had both calculated what her steps could be. So I expected that he should have been able to lock her down and clear things before it became nasty for them." She explained.
