Evelyn was having a good time being alone - a good time. Even in the middle of the rejoicing that she clearly wasn't a part of. The whole family bonding was still going on even till the next day, Evelyn couldn't help but envy the lifestyle of Biden who was aged and was reaping what he had sown. He had a great loving family with grandkids running all around. Did she want this? Yes. With who? Probably anyone that matched up to her requirements but for now, all she could do was to watch them from afar.
A young lady then walked up to meet Evelyn.
"Hi."
Evelyn turned to look at her and smiled, "Hi."
"Why did you you join us? Are you new here?" The lady asked. She was slender and tall too, with a bit of brown strands decorating her forehead and her lips were a bit moderate. She was good-looking enough and Evelyn guessed correctly that she might be among the daughter-in-laws.
