Evelyn was led to the special room that Ryan was locked up in. Yeah, it was indeed special for a reason it was at least conducive enough for someone of his caliber. He was lying on the bed with his legs sprawled across it when she arrived. He turned his head to look at who it was and when he saw her, he immediately stood to his feet as if his savior had come and rushed to the iron bars to hold her. The cop that was behind her unlocked the place so she could step in while still keeping an eye on them under the facade that she could be there to do something that would ruin their investigations.
Ryan felt utterly happy to have seen her and he didn't let go of her hand for one second as he just kept rubbing them softly while looking into her worried eyes. Yes, that worried eyes of hers stirred something deep in him that he could not fathom yet. It had been long since anyone else showed him something like that - something that looked this genuine to him.
