Ryan was inside his room afterward with a stern face. His slender fingers kept stroking his chin as his eyes scanned the screen, taking into his brain every detail before going to bed. It was necessary.
Evelyn closed the door behind her after entering, she was holding her phone and had previously replied to a few messages mostly from her new boss - the masked man. She glanced at Ryan who seemed occupied with his thoughts and decided to speak with him. After all, he had successfully created a pathway for her to use him to her satisfaction.
But on getting to his side, her eyes caught hold of the image on the screen of his laptop. It was gold. Ryan looked over his shoulder and sighed.
"You are done." He said, more like a statement.
"Yeah, you have an early meeting tomorrow so I think it will be wise to retire to bed early."
"Hmm."
"What is this about if I am allowed to know?"
