Sam snapped his fingers and chuckled humorlessly,
"I can't say anything yet without giving a condition." He said and Maria felt like pouncing on him to retrieve the information that she wanted. He was tricky and she expected that.
"I told you about the first information for free because I love you and you didn't even appreciate me for such a step so this time around unfortunately, I have to get something in return." He proposed and Maria drank yet another full glass of beer.
"If I must say, your alcohol tolerance is a bit great." He added. Maria closed and reopened her eyes again as her fingers drummed against the table.
"What is the condition?" She asked.
"Promise me that you will do it."
"I can't promise what I don't know the repercussions yet." She shot a glare at him. Sam chuckled, his Adam's apple moved as he sipped his beer. Fierce. He liked it.
