It was already Monday. The first day of work for Evelyn and she was more than excited as she checked herself out in the mirror. It was time to crush it and get herself out of this mess once and for all. She was doing this to protect her siblings the most and she felt really at ease that they knew what she was doing and they were checking up on her every time.
She put on her silver wristwatch and looked at herself again.
"Girl, I am so fine." She praised herself. She didn't use to dress feminine when working with Shaft fully then. She was just a regular tomboy until the situation called for it. She grabbed her bag and her phone before leaving the room, locking the door on her way out.
She climbed the stairs gently. Gay saw her and quickly ran to assist the lady down the stairs. She was on heels after all.
