The siblings were yet to recover from their state of shock after they heard this. They looked at their sister attentively to see if she would break into a fit of laughter and tell them that it was nothing but a joke. However, it wasn't as they imagined it to be. It was far from it. This was reality. Her face was serious too.
"Big Sis, you are not joking?" Sam asked after she had managed successfully to stop herself from bringing out her organs due to choking on a drink.
"How could you? Wait, hold on. How? When? Where? Was he a bad guy? He was trying to assault you or what?" Bert asked hurriedly.
Never for once did they believe that their sister would announce herself to be a murderer.
"Or was it by mistake?" Bert quickly added, hoping she would pick that up and clear the mess she had made with their minds.
Evelyn shook her head at them and sighed heavily. She recrossed her legs to start explaining how she got herself to that area.
