Chapter 3 - Helpful tips

Truly and start your baby once they can eat rice cereal, have them eat vegetables. Try to avoid fruits. Unless you want to deal with sugar tooth babies and diapers rashes. Also avoid things like lemons, limes, oranges , pineapples and anything acidic because a babies stomach lining isn't strong.

Thawed out corn, pea's and carrots are great snack for babies with teeth that are teething. Avoid choking hazard foods. Grapes, hot dogs. Cut or mush up their food so they don't accidentally choke. My daughter loved cucumber now, corn and potatoes. Chicken is her choose in meat. It's a struggle to get her to try new foods but we are constantly trying.

We also took our daughter out a lot as a baby, to restaurants, to family events and the store. She is very quite and always observing. We often point items out in the store telling her what color they are or what the item is. Blue bag of chips, or red hot pepper, pretty pink flower. I believe this helps her learn. Also I ask her to point out colors. Or items. Each moment is a new experience for them and I try had to turn a boating shopping trip into a learning opportunity.

I have four siblings and my parents worked all the time. So I was more raised by my siblings. So I want to be an attentive parent and teach as much as I can now before her education swaps over to school. I'm not great at school so her Dad will take over parenting at that point hopefully. Lol I can only imagine our daughter and I setting trying to do a math problem and her father trying to teach us both.

New generation math and teaching keeps me up at night. Why do they keep change how they teach subjects or how math problems must be solved…? I do not know.. keep us parents guessing I guess.

I hope this was helpful to you all. Remember it's not easy being a parent. No one is perfect. Everyone struggles. But you can do it! I have faith!

Bye till next time!
