I stared out the window. The moon shined it's brightest that day. I was happy. Really happy. I had gotten a chance to participate in the inter-school's singing competition. But my parents refused. They thought it was a waste of time. All that happiness went to trash.
Oops! I forgot to Introduce myself, didn't I? My name's Lysha. I am 17 and a high school student. The only thing I like except singing is my favorite novel, 'True Love'.
Now why do I like it? Arken Sager, the male lead, was the first ever crush I had. And I really liked Lysha Evor. She was the villain of the story but her life was my dream life and we had the same name! She liked to sing too but her voice was...well...not so good. Though she was in the music club. I never got to be a part of that club in my school. Yeah, no music club allowed in my life.
I sighed. My fate was sealed. I was never going to get a life like that. I lied on my bed and forced myself to sleep.
I woke up with the sun shining right on my eyes. I sat up in a sitting position, still half asleep. The blanket felt softer than last night. The bed also felt more comfier.
As the view of my eyes became clearer. My eye brows automatically raised up. I was in someone else's room!
The room was gigantic. The bed I was sitting on was even bigger than my own bed. What the hell?
"Lysha, are you up dear?" someone yelled from downstairs. Wait downstairs? We had no downstairs at our house.
And what did the voice mean by 'dear?' That was definitely not my mom's voice. She'd die before calling me 'dear'. Then who was this person and what was she doing in my house? Or was it really my house?
I scanned the room to find anything that could tell me who's house I was at.
Then I spotted a picture in a frame...of me? I was wearing a red Louis Vuitton outfit. Where did I get that much money from?
I stepped off from the bed and made my way towards the picture. That certainly was me but not exactly. And I still meant that by the dress I was wearing.
My eyes went around the room again and I spotted a mirror. I rushed towards it. I had no nightgown for myself. Why was I wearing one? And how was my face looking so...beautiful?
If I remember correctly, I was an average pretty person. Not too pretty but not bad looking either. But now I looked like a movie star.
I touched my face, surprised to find it softer than ever. My eyes were blacker than usual and my eyelashes had become beautifully bigger.
What in the world was happening?
"Lysha!" the voice called again. "You're gonna be late for school dear! Come down for breakfast!"
I took a deep breath. I had to know what was going on. I stepped out the door.
My eyes widened. This wasn't a house! It was a freaking castle! The room form which I came out was on the second floor and from the railing I could see the first and the ground floor. And as I looked above, I could see two more floors.
I climed the down the marble stairs. As I reached the ground floor, a few feet away was a door, that I thought was the main one to enter in this castle. To the right, there was a gigantic living room with huge couches. There was even a LED TV that was the biggest one I had ever seen!
My eyes went towards the left. There was the dining area. With a long table and chairs all around it.
On one of the chairs sat a woman. Her hair was pulled up into a bun. She was wearing a neat white shirt under a black formal suit. She was reading a magazine while sipping a hot beverage from a cup.
She looked at me, "Lysha, dear, come quick, breakfast's getting cold."
That was the person who was calling me from before. I walked towards the dining area and made myself sit in front of her.
A woman with an apron came from what looked like the kitchen. And yeah, it was even bigger than my 'real' room. She kept a plate with pancakes in front of me. They looked delicious! And it had my favorite blueberry syrup on top. How did she know my favorite?
"Mrs Evor," said the woman from the kitchen, "What would you like me to pack for your lunch?"
Wait, Mrs Evor? In the sense, The Mrs Alina Evor from the True Love novel? She was Lysha's mom! And she was calling me Lysha. Which ment...
WHAT? I shouted mentally. I was Lysha Evor! The big house, the red Louis Vuitton, my beauty. It all made sense now!
Wait a second, this had always been the life I dreamt of! I could really live it as I liked? I could be in the music club!
But how did I end up here anyway? I'll have to find that out. But for now, I'd like to know how it felt to be Lysha Evor.
