Adam Jones: "..."
"My phone?"
Elly Campbell paused for a moment, rummaged through her bag, and then realized her phone was indeed not there.
When had her phone been stolen?
She furrowed her brow and quickly stepped forward, speaking into William Campbell's phone, "Sir, thank you for helping me find my phone. There's a lot of important data stored on it. Please return it to me, and I'll reward you handsomely."
As soon as she finished speaking, a familiar sneering laughter came through the phone, "Do you think I care about your money?"
Elly Campbell was taken aback, then her expression darkened, "Adam Jones?"
The phone had ended up in his car?
Elly Campbell's brow wrinkled with irritation.
Her tone naturally lost the courtesy she had for the "stranger" earlier, "Adam Jones, where are you now? I'll come to get my phone."
Adam Jones, hearing the instantly chilled voice on the other end of the line, had his smile widen even more.
